Raptors w Necro?
lo all, i'm just wondering since i haven't farmed raptor nestlings in a while if it is possible to do w a necro primary yet? i'm aware of other builds using other classes as primary but i'm only concerned in knowing if it can be done necro style. cheers

quite a challenge to make a necro build for raptors
considering the interupting it's quite hard to find the right skills for it |

yes i have tried before to crack it w mes or ele secondary, test runs were not successful.

Necro is missing good damage skills that would kill them quickly and also missing something to prevent the interrupting.
So if it has to be necro you're stuck to common skills of other classes. My necro build uses ele skills only. Since the glyph of concentration nerf tho it's not working well anymore

You can 600/smite them pretty easily, just time shield Shield of Absorption and other skills between interrupts and it is pretty easy, in all honesty though i have not really tried any other methods for farming them as i am not really into farming that much

umm i tried to do this a long while ago... i got pretty close to pulling it off... i used /e secondary... i could live long enough... i just didnt do enough damage... and my energy ran out before i could kill anything.
im not sure how i made the build... a ward and some earth armor spells... SS as elite i think.. basicly just get a high dodge rate and hope ur not interupetd...still.. i dont think theres much possibility of doing it... actually... if u go n/r it might be possible... cus u get speed boosts to aggro raptors without aggroing the mother... and lots of dodge skills.... all i know is theres no way of 55ing it as a nec... anyway... just experiment and gl ;p! I've been using this...
[build;OAdTYsz+ZSnxtkNApxFCOYtEuE] and this... [build;OAdTYsz+ZSnxtkNAp5MQTYtEuE] both work in NM and HM, but neither will kill Rekoff Broodmother. It is best to work your way around the cave clockwise, taking them in three separate groups. In addition, if Air of Superiority does not recharge Shadow Form, the run takes a bit longer as you have to wait for health and SF to recharge. But it does work pretty consistently for me. I use a caster's sword, and a 20/20 curses focus, with a Superior Curses rune on my Curses headpiece, full Radiants, a Superior Vigor, and Attunements on the rest. Good Luck!
